- In 2003, GreeNet was founded.
- 2009
- In 2009, GreeNet launched the first comprehensive DPI product in the industry.
- 2010
- In 2010, GreeNet released the first X86-based 10G serial fluidic control system in the industry.
- 2011
- In 2011, GreeNet successfully built a two-speed campus network for Wuhan Telecom, the first X86-based 10G serial DPI case in China.
- 2012
- In 2012, GreeNet successfully deployed the MAN Intelligent Pipeline Project of Shanghai Telecom, which was a typical case of serial DPI deployment. In the same year, it received support from the NDRC for the project of “Next-Generation Internet Technology R&D, Industrialization and Mass Commercialization – DPI-Enabled High-Performance, and Multi-Purpose IPv4-IPv6 Converged Gateway Products”.
- 2013
- In 2013, GreeNet was short-listed and won the bid for IDC/ISP management system project of China Telecom. Since then, GreeNet has been awarded for five times continuously for the same project. In the same year, it successfully deployed the high-speed IPv6 network for the Boao Forum for Asia.
- 2014
- In 2014, GreeNet signed the new DPI project with China Telecom and became the biggest vendor in the market by the comprehensive share. In the same year, it joined the SDN Industry Alliance and passed ONF and EANTC tests, with the performance increased by one order of magnitude.
- 2015
- In 2015, GreeNet became vendor of the centralized procurement of China Mobile and signed the “Centralized DPI Equipment Procurement and Supply” contract with China Mobile.
- Also in 2015, as a main editor, it participated in development of the Technical Requirements for FDN-based DPI Equipment, an industrial standard released by China Communications Standards Association.
- 2016
- In 2016, GreeNet won the bid for China Telecom’s 4G DPI project, then achieving the largest market share. It had a breakthrough in the national network security market. It also became the vendor of China Unicom, with the annual revenue growth of over 50%.
- Also in 2016, as a main editor, it participated in the development of the Technical Requirements for Light-weight IPv6 Business Gateway Equipment, a standard for Chinese communication industry that was released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China (Chinese Standard Category No.: M32; International Standard Category No.: ICS 33.040.20)
- 2017
- In 2017, GreeNet signed a contract with China Telecom Macau. It signed phase expansion contract with China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom, achieving a year-on-year growth of 100%.
- Also in 2017, as a main editor, it participated in the development of the Requirements for Enterprise-Side Platform Capacity of Trojan and Botnet Network Monitoring and Disposal Systems, a Chinese communication industry standard.
- 2018
- In 2018, GreeNet released an innovative product SINE and successfully completed its pilot at provincial-level operator sites and received the approval; it also launched the next generation intelligent orthogonal aggregation device, VoLTE end-to-end analysis systems, IoT awareness systems and other innovative products. The existing DPI system fully supports IPv6 converting gateway.
- Also in 2018, GreeNet was awarded “Hidden Champion Enterprise in Hubei Province”.
