Wuhan GreeNet Co., Ltd. (GreeNet) is a nationally recognized high‑tech enterprise specializing in data communications.

With a mission to realize "Intelligent Networks, Smart World," GreeNet focuses on pioneering technologies such as 5G and edge intelligent networking, striving to lead the new generation of intelligent networks.

Headquartered in China’s Optics Valley in Wuhan, GreeNet has established subsidiaries and operational offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, and other key locations. It operates three R&D centers and research institutes across Wuhan and Beijing and holds the designation of "National Enterprise Technology Center" from China’s National Development and Reform Commission. Its research platforms include the provincial-level "Hubei Provincial Edge Computing Engineering Research Center" and "Hubei Provincial Enterprise Technology Center," as well as the municipal "Wuhan Enterprise R&D Center."

Serving telecommunications operators and enterprise clients, GreeNet provides advanced technologies, products, and solutions for next‑generation intelligent networks and the digital economy. As a primary supplier of intelligent networking solutions to China’s three major operators, the company’s portfolio spans edge intelligence, fixed and mobile networks, and the Internet of Things. These solutions are deployed across critical network nodes in operator environments, essential infrastructure, and key industry sectors. They enable real‑time network monitoring, service quality analysis, and optimization support, empowering clients to enhance operational performance and reliability. To date, GreeNet's solutions have been implemented in over 400 equipment rooms across more than 160 cities in 31 Chinese provinces, including Hong Kong and Macau, with total link capacity exceeding 700 terabits.

Recognized for technological innovation, GreeNet has set and sustained significant industry benchmarks, including the world’s largest single deployment of general‑purpose servers in series within an operator’s core equipment room (China Telecom Shanghai, 2012). By September 2025, GreeNet had contributed to the development of more than ten national and industry standards, secured over a hundred granted invention patents and software copyrights, and earned critical certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, SA 8000, Intellectual Property Management System, and CMMI‑5.

History of GreeNet

2003

● Established.

2009

● With profound technological accumulation, we officially launched the industry’s first comprehensive intelligent traffic identification and analysis product, leading technological innovation in the sector.

2011-2012

● Delivered landmark industry projects, including China’s first “Dual-Network, Dual-Speed” campus network deployment (China Telecom Wuhan) and what remains the world’s largest series deployment of general-purpose servers in a metropolitan area network core server room (China Telecom Shanghai).

2013

● Successfully qualified for and won the bid for China Telecom's XXX Management System Project—a contract the company secured for five consecutive bidding rounds thereafter; deployed a high-performance IPv6 network solution for the Boao Forum for Asia.

2014

● Joined the SDN Industry Alliance and passed both ONF and EANTC certifications, delivering a tenfold performance improvement in key benchmarks.

2015

● Entered the centralized procurement project of China Mobile, and subsequently, in the following year, expanded into China Unicom's market.

2017

● Secured a significant project with China Telecom Macau, achieved over 100% quarter-on-quarter growth in new orders, and obtained several key business certifications.

2018

● Successfully developed and piloted the “Super Intelligent Network Element (SINE)” equipment, marking the beginning of Wuhan GreeNet’s third major phase of strategic expansion.

2019

Formally launched the international development strategy and established a dedicated global team. Throughout the year, Wuhan GreeNet maintained a prominent presence on the world stage, engaging with industry leaders at premier events: ● February: Participated in Mobile World Congress (Barcelona)； ● March: Delivered a keynote on edge computing at the RSA Conference (San Francisco)； ● April: Attended the SDN/NFV Conference (San Jose)； ● June: Launched its 5G traffic processing solution at Shanghai International Mobile Communications Exhibition (Shanghai)； ● September: Presented at the Edge Computing Congress (London)； ● October: Exhibited at PT Expo China (Beijing).

2020

● Achieved comprehensive advancements across 5G, international operations, and edge intelligence, strategically positioning itself to capture the vast potential of the intelligent network services market. Key milestones included the establishment of a Hong Kong subsidiary and corporate recognition through its inclusion on the list of Wuhan’s Top 100 Software Enterprises and receipt of the Optics Valley Quality Award.

2021

2023
